Last updated: 6 July 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Artemis.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Artemis website, membership platform, events, services and community activities. By accessing, registering for, or using Artemis, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Artemis.

2. Artemis Community Commitment

Artemis is built on the belief that meaningful connections, shared experiences and trusted relationships create opportunities for women to thrive.

By joining Artemis, members commit to upholding the values of trust, generosity, respect, professionalism and confidentiality. We ask every member to contribute to a community where women feel supported, valued and empowered to share, learn and grow.

Together, we are creating a network defined not only by who is in the room, but by how we show up for one another.

3. Membership

Artemis is a professional women’s network designed to foster meaningful connections, personal growth, leadership development and professional opportunities.

Membership may be subject to approval and may be refused, suspended or revoked at the discretion of Artemis.

Members are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and kept up to date.

4. Member Accounts

Where an account is required, members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity conducted under their account.

Members must notify Artemis promptly if they believe their account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation.

5. Community Standards

Artemis is committed to creating a respectful, supportive and professional environment where women can connect, learn and grow.

Members agree to:

  • Treat all members with respect and professionalism.
  • Contribute positively to the community.
  • Respect differing perspectives and experiences.
  • Use the platform and events in a manner consistent with the values of Artemis.

Members must not:

  • Harass, intimidate, discriminate against or bully others.
  • Share misleading, offensive or unlawful content.
  • Use Artemis for spam, mass solicitation or unsolicited marketing.
  • Misrepresent themselves or their affiliations.
  • Engage in behaviour that may harm the reputation, integrity or safety of the Artemis community.

Artemis reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where conduct is inconsistent with these standards.

6. Confidentiality & Trust

Trust is fundamental to the Artemis community.

Members may share professional experiences, business challenges, personal insights and opportunities within Artemis events, discussions, forums and networking activities. Members agree to respect the confidentiality of information shared within the community.

Information disclosed by a member should not be shared, reproduced, distributed, recorded, published or used outside the Artemis community without the express permission of the individual concerned.

While Artemis encourages a culture of trust and confidentiality, Artemis cannot guarantee the conduct of individual members and accepts no liability for information shared between members.

7. Use of Member Information

Member information and directory access are provided solely to support genuine relationship building, networking and collaboration within the Artemis community.

Members may not copy, export, scrape, sell, distribute or use member information for marketing lists, recruitment databases, unsolicited outreach, mass communications or other commercial purposes without prior written consent from Artemis and the relevant member.

8. Member Connections and Opportunities

Artemis facilitates introductions, networking opportunities, events and community engagement.

Any business relationships, partnerships, investments, employment arrangements, purchases, collaborations or agreements entered into between members are solely the responsibility of the parties involved.

Artemis does not endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility for any member, organisation, service, product or opportunity introduced through the community.

9. Events

Artemis may host virtual and in-person events.

Event details, pricing and attendance requirements will be communicated separately.

Artemis reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel events where reasonably necessary.

Unless otherwise stated, event registrations are non-refundable. Where Artemis cancels an event, members may be offered an alternative event, credit or refund at Artemis’ discretion.

10. Fees and Payments

Membership fees and event fees, where applicable, will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a membership or event ticket, you authorise Artemis to collect the applicable fees using your chosen payment method.

Members are responsible for ensuring that payment information remains current and valid.

11. Intellectual Property

All Artemis trademarks, branding, content, publications, materials, website content and related intellectual property remain the property of Artemis or its licensors.

Members may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Artemis content without prior written permission.

Content submitted by members remains the property of the member. By submitting content to Artemis, members grant Artemis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute such content for community, operational and promotional purposes.

12. Privacy

The collection and use of personal information are governed by the Artemis Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

By using Artemis, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in accordance with those policies.

13. Membership Cancellation & Termination

Members may cancel their membership at any time.

Cancellation will stop future renewals; however, membership fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable. No full or partial refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a membership period.

Membership benefits and access will continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless Artemis terminates membership for breach of these Terms.

Artemis reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member breaches these Terms, violates community standards or acts in a manner inconsistent with the values and purpose of the Artemis community.

14. Limitation of Liability

Artemis provides its services on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artemis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from the use of its website, membership services, events, community activities or member interactions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

15. Changes to These Terms

Artemis may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the website, platform or by email. Continued use of Artemis following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
